Land Fund

At the summer 2009 meeting, a new Land Committee was formed.

They were given authority to purchase land if appropriate land was found.

The new Land Fund Committee:

FENCING HAS STARTED ON THE PROJECT!!!

Enclosure #1 is complete and

#4 needs the gates hung to complete this enclosure.

The gates will be hung this week.

These enclosures will help insure

beagle trialing for years to come in the south for all beaglers.

Everybody is welcome to contribute.

Clubs, we are asking for money for 2 or more rolls and individuals at least 1 roll.

$200 per roll and we will put a plaque on the fence recognizing your contribution.

Faithway Feed Co and Little Wills Kennel and Dog Supply will donate a

1" set of trial collars($45 value) to the winner of a drawing for each individual or club

that donates at $5000 donation intervals. Those giving to our first $5000 names

will be drawn out of a hat by Beverly Nelson. Collars will be shipped to winner.

1st drawing winner - Jerry Newman

2nd drawing winner - Acadiana Beagle Club

3rd drawing winner - Hiwassee Beagle Club

4th drawing winner - Choctaw Beagle Club

Trial leads($180 value - 4 sets that match AKC rosettes for 5 places) will be

given to each club or individual's club that has donated that is drawn out

of a hat by Beverly Nelson when we receive $8000 for 1 enclosure.

This will continue until all 4 enclosures are complete.
